Math
Mathematics at ILTexas is where strong foundations meet ambitious pathways. From kindergarten through Algebra II, students build deep conceptual understanding through the Bluebonnet Learning curriculum, learning not just how to solve problems, but why the math works. Because we believe every learner deserves a strong start, our youngest mathematicians in PK-1 learn in a Dual Language setting, with DLI and TBE models supporting students in grades 2 through 5. That foundation carries students forward: an accelerated middle school sequence places students in Algebra I by eighth grade, opening the door to advanced high school coursework. Our high school program reaches beyond the classroom with a dual credit partnership with UT Austin through OnRamps, along with AP Precalculus, AP Statistics, and AP Calculus AB/BC, and we embed SAT preparation directly into junior-level courses so students are ready for what comes next. Whether a student is just learning to count or tackling calculus, ILTexas meets them where they are and challenges them to go further.

Science
At ILTexas, we believe science comes alive through curiosity, exploration, and hands-on learning. Our K–12 Science program provides students with engaging, standards-aligned instruction that helps them understand the world around them while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills.
Savvas and Pearson serve as our primary instructional resources, providing students and teachers with a consistent foundation for learning across grade levels. These resources are complemented by hands-on investigations, laboratory experiences, and other activities that encourage students to ask questions, investigate ideas, and apply what they learn.
In Grades 3–5, Science and Social Studies are taught through a two-teacher partner model, with a dedicated team of teachers working together to provide instruction in both subjects. This approach gives students the benefit of specialized instruction while creating meaningful connections between science, social studies, and the world around them.
Our goal is simple: to inspire students to think like scientists, ask meaningful questions, and develop a lifelong curiosity about how and why things work.

Reading/Language Arts/English
Reading and Language Arts at ILTexas is where young readers become confident voices. Through high quality instructional materials (HQIM), students grow as readers and writers, learning to understand complex texts, think critically, and make their own ideas heard on the page. Our youngest learners begin in a Dual Language setting in PK-1, with DLI and TBE models supporting students in grades 2 through 5, building strong literacy in two languages from day one. In middle school, that foundation opens new doors, and eighth grade students have the opportunity to take Pre-AP English or English I. From there, high school readers and writers push further through OnRamps dual credit with UT Austin, along with AP English Language, AP English Literature, and AP Seminar, where they learn to analyze what they read and craft arguments with clarity and confidence. Whether a student is sounding out first words or composing a literary analysis, ILTexas sets them up for the next chapter of their story - confident, capable, and ready to write what comes next.

Social Studies
Mandarin Chinese
At International Leadership of Texas, our Chinese program is closely aligned with our district's mission. Every student, from Pre-K through 12th grade, receives Chinese language instruction. Our elementary program follows the FLES model with six levels of Chinese, while grades 6–12 follow the LOTE model with ten courses ranging from Novice A to AP Chinese and beyond. For students who excel, we offer special grant-funded classes—Chinese Kung Fu, Chinese Literacy, and Chinese Fine Arts—to deepen their skills and cultural appreciation.
