What is the ILTexas Pre-K 4 Curriculum?
The International Leadership of Texas Pre-K 4 Curriculum gives your student a head start at becoming an exceptional leader in the international community! Our curriculum is aligned with the Texas Education Agency Kindergarten Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).

To align with our mission, our Pre-K 4 program incorporates the ILTexas mission through the addition of:

• English, Spanish, and Chinese Language Classes
• Learning our "Others Before Self" motto and servant leadership
• Physical fitness classes that help strengthen the mind, body, and character

Pre-K students will follow a 5 day-a-week, full-day schedule similar to that of our Kindergarten students.

What are the eligibility requirements for Pre-K 4 Students?

Pre-K students must meet Texas Education Agency criteria.

To be eligible for enrollment in free prekindergarten (Pre-K4), a child must be four years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year and must meet one of the following requirements:

• The child is economically disadvantaged
• The child is unable to speak and comprehend the English language
• The child is homeless as defined by McKinney-Vento
• The child is a dependent of an active duty member of the U.S. armed forces or is the child of a member of the U.S. armed forces who was injured or killed while serving on active duty
• The child is or has been in foster care
• The child is a dependent of a Star of Texas Award recipient

Tuition-Based Pre-K 4

Does ILTexas offer a tuition-based Pre-K 4 program?
For those families who do not qualify for free Pre-K4, ILTexas offers a tuition-based Pre-K4 program at the ILTexas Mansfield Heritage K-8 campus only.

What is the cost of the tuition-based program?

The annual cost of the Pre-K4 program is $4,500.

• Families who pay the full amount up front will receive a 10% discount ($450) 
• Tuition is split evenly over a 10-month period - August-May.
• First payment is due prior to the scholars first day of school. Subsequent payments are due the first of each month. 
• There will be no refunds for withdrawals or expulsions. 

What is the the enrollment process for the tuition-based Pre-K4 program?

Families will apply at ILTexas.org/apply like all other families. Enrollment is based on space availability at each site. Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis. A waiting list will be available when tuition spots are not available. 

What is the schedule for the tuition-based Pre-K4 program?

Tuition-based Pre-K4 follows the same schedule as the free program. Students will be in a full-day program, starting at 8:00 AM, ending at 3:45 PM.
