Safe Schools Program

The Safe Schools program in schools pays cash rewards to students for tips of criminal activity leading to an arrest or disciplinary action. Crimes and potential dangers that can be reported include but are not limited to: threats against students, staff, or the safety of the campus, possession of weapons, vandalism, theft, possession of drugs, and self-harm, which has already occurred, is in the process of occurring, or may occur in the future on school campuses, school buses, and at school events. The Safe Schools program is closely integrated with local law enforcement to ensure a swift and appropriate response to crimes and potential dangers.

Tips may also be received on conduct or threatened conduct that constitutes a danger to public safety, an individual, or that would disrupt the efficient and effective operations of the school. We encourage students, families, and staff to continue sharing non-criminal-related concerns with campus or charter leadership.
