Elizabeth Stanton, a senior at ILTexas Aggieland High is the award recipient of the prestigious Military Child of the Year® Award based on her leadership, resilience, achievement, scholarship, extra curriculars, and dedication to service. She will be honored at the Military Child of the Year Awards Gala in Arlington, VA on April 23, presented by JPMorganChase. Elizabeth will also receive a $10,000 grant, a laptop computer, and other donated gifts.

The annual award, presented by Operation Homefront, honors exceptional military children who have demonstrated strength of character, academic achievement, and a commitment to their communities. Elizabeth, representing the Air Force, was selected from a highly competitive pool of over 1000 nominees nationwide.

We are incredibly proud of Elizabeth Stanton and all that she has accomplished. Her perseverance and commitment to serving others truly embody the values of ILTexas. We look forward to seeing all that she will achieve in the future.
