It’s time to secure your child’s chance to join ILTexas! The New Student Application for the 2026–2027 school year officially opened on November 1, 2025, and will remain open through February 28, 2026.
Submitting your application ensures your child is entered into the ILTexas Lottery, which determines admission offers and waitlist positions for the upcoming school year.
How the Application and Lottery Work
Submit your New Student Application (available in English and Spanish) before the February 28 deadline to participate in the lottery.
After submitting, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Enrollment@ILTexas.com. If you don’t receive it, please check your spam folder or resubmit — only the most recent application will be kept.
Returning families should log into their Parent Portal to complete the Intent to Return Form for the upcoming school year.
Our youngest Eagles begin their leadership journey in the ILTexas Pre-K program, where learning starts with curiosity, character, and connection. Through hands-on activities and early exposure to English, Spanish, and Chinese, Pre-K students build a strong academic and social foundation that prepares them to thrive in kindergarten and beyond.

The ILTexas Lottery
All applications received by February 28 are automatically entered into the ILTexas Lottery, scheduled for March 6, 2025.
The automated lottery randomly assigns each applicant a position for available seats. In alignment with the ILTexas Parent-Student Handbook, the following groups receive priority:
- Returning students who have completed the Intent to Return process
- Siblings of currently enrolled students (sharing a parent through birth, marriage, or adoption)
- Children of ILTexas employees or founders (within allowable limits)
- Certain at-risk student groups within authorized geographic boundaries
After the lottery, families will receive an email with either:
- An offer of admission, with the next steps to complete enrollment paperwork, or
- A waitlist position, to be contacted if a seat becomes available.
Enrollment After the Lottery
If your child receives an offer of admission, you’ll complete the required enrollment forms and provide the following documents:
- Student’s birth certificate
- Immunization records
- Social Security card (if applicable)
- Most recent report card or transcript
- Parent/guardian ID
- Proof of residency (such as a utility bill, lease, or car insurance)
If Your Child Is Waitlisted
Students not selected during the lottery are placed on the waitlist for their grade level. As seats become available, families are contacted in numerical order.
Please note: A new application must be submitted each year, as waitlists do not carry over from one school year to the next.
