MANSFIELD, TX– ILTexas is proud to announce its new Heritage K-8 campus coming Fall 2023. Located on the outskirts of Grand Prairie, the school will serve the Mansfield and Midlothian communities in addition to its surrounding areas.

Teresa McCasland will serve as the principal of the new campus. McCasland has over a decade  of experience in education serving elementary school students in addition to working in international affairs. 

The Heritage K-8 campus will honor the ILTexas mission to “prepare students for exceptional leadership roles in the international community by emphasizing servant leadership, mastering the English, Spanish, and Chinese languages, and strengthening the mind, body and character.”

ILTexas will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the new campus on Tuesday, November 15. The groundbreaking will include traditional Chinese Lion dances, a live Mariachi band, and the ILTexas Marine Corps JROTC cadets. 

ILTexas Heritage K-8 is part of a charter-wide expansion plan that will increase the ILTexas footprint from 21 campuses to 24 physical campuses. ILTexas Heritage K-8 will begin serving students in the 2023-2024 school year and will be home to 1,416 scholars.
