ILTexas is proud to celebrate one of our distinguished alumni, Nicholas Goldring, who recently delivered a remarkable speech—completely in Chinese—at the World Chinese Language Conference, an international gathering of educators, scholars, and global leaders in Chinese language learning.

 

 

Nicholas took the stage in front of top officials, including Vice Premier Ding and Minister Huai from China’s Ministry of Education. Despite the prestige and pressure of the moment, he delivered his address with confidence, fluency, and poise. His mastery of the language and his deep appreciation for Chinese culture were evident throughout his presentation.

Audience members and leaders alike were deeply impressed. Many shared that Nicholas’s speech stood out not only for his linguistic skill but also for the passion and authenticity he brought to the stage.
