CLEVELAND, Texas–ILTexas is proud to announce Dr. Imelda Andre as the new principal of the ILTexas Master Sergeant General (MSG) Ramirez K-8 campus.

Dr. Andre has over 20 years of experience in education.  She has taught as a kindergarten bilingual teacher, served as a bilingual peer facilitator, and administrator in Pre-Kindergarten-4th and 7th-8th grade campuses.  She attended the University of Houston for her undergraduate degree in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology.  Andre then attended the University of St. Thomas for her Masters in School Administration and Doctorate in Ethical Leadership.

The ILTexas MSG Ramirez K-8 campus is part of a charter-wide expansion plan that will increase the ILTexas footprint from 21 campuses to 24 physical campuses. The school will begin serving students in the Liberty County area in Fall 2023 and will be home to 1,416 scholars.
