RICHARDSON, TX–The ILTexas graduating class of 2022 will be the first group of seniors eligible to receive scholarships presented by the charter. Scholarship awards range from $250-$3,000 with selection criteria based on students’ academic performance, financial need, and a demonstrated commitment to the ILTexas mission of servant leadership. The awards will be presented at the college signing ceremonies held throughout May.

The scholarships are one of the first initiatives from the ILTexas development department whose mission is “to acquire and generate funding from philanthropic sources to support endeavors such as student trips and senior scholarships,” according to Angela Marcellus, Chief Development Officer at ILTexas. Scholarships are funded through fundraising efforts, private donors, and the Every Gift Counts campaign.
