It’s National School Counselor Week (NSCW) and ILTexas is honoring its counselors who make a difference in the lives of students. Each ILTexas campus is staffed with counselors dedicated to supporting the emotional and social needs of students and staff.

According to the American School Counselors Association, the purpose of NCSW is to “focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems,” as stated on their official website. NSCW is celebrated during the first full week of February each year.
