ILTexas Charter School creates 8,000 new seats

The International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) has begun six groundbreaking ceremonies to add an additional 8,000 seats to its student population. New campuses will serve students in the greater Dallas/Ft Worth, and Houston areas. Each campus will be over 90,000 square feet with the capacity to serve over 1,400 students per campus.

Language training is without a doubt becoming more popular in today’s school systems and this trend has become more apparent with the 2016 arrival of the International Leadership of Texas charter schools (ILTexas) to the Houston area. ILTexas is a college preparatory free public charter school (k -12) which requires each student to learn all three languages of English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese and to exemplify their servant leadership motto of “Others Before Self”.

The ILTexas mission statement reads, “To prepare students for exceptional Leadership roles in the international community by emphasizing servant leadership; mastering English, Spanish, and Chinese; and strengthening the mind, body and character”

Currently serving over 5,000 students with 6,000 students on waiting lists, this month’s six ground Breaking ceremonies will make ILTexas one of the fastest growing charter schools in the United States.
