International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) families and community members are invited to attend a Virtual Child Find & Dyslexia Parent Night on Thursday, October 1.

The informational session is designed for parents and guardians who want to learn more about Child Find, the special education referral and evaluation process, and dyslexia services available to students.

Whether you have questions about how to request an evaluation, are wondering whether your child may need additional support, or simply want to better understand the resources available through ILTexas, this session will provide an opportunity to learn more and connect with members of the ILTexas team.

During the presentation, families will receive an overview of:

• Child Find and its purpose
• The special education referral and evaluation process
• Dyslexia identification and support
• Resources and services available to ILTexas students

Families who register will also have the opportunity to submit questions in advance. The ILTexas team will answer as many questions as possible during the presentation. If a question requires more individualized information, a member of the appropriate department will follow up directly.
