On Friday, February 13, ILTexas MCJROTC hosted its first MCJROTC District Drill Championship at the Keller-Saginaw campus. All seven ILTexas high schools with MCJROTC programs competed in the inaugural event.

After a full day of competition, cadets from Windmill-Lakes Orem High School were crowned District Champions.
All teams performed exceptionally well, demonstrating the preparation, discipline, and commitment required for high-level drill competition. Drill strengthens self-discipline, teamwork, attention to detail, and character—qualities that were clearly on display throughout the event.
