International Leadership of Texas has been awarded a $2 million grant from the Department of Defense’s World Language Advancement and Readiness Program (WLARP). This is the third time ILTexas has received the World Language Advancement and Readiness Grant and we couldn’t be more proud!

This grant will support the piloting of our new Advanced Chinese Language Course centered around Fine Arts and a Martial Arts course integrated into our Physical Education program. Research shows that incorporating fine arts and physical movement into learning enhances language acquisition, and we’re excited to offer these new courses to our students.

As always, ILTexas remains committed to preparing our students for the international community by emphasizing servant leadership, mastering the English, Spanish, and Chinese languages, and strengthening the mind, body and character.
