Out of more than 5,000 teams worldwide, six ILTexas JROTC teams have qualified for three different 2026 National JROTC Championships, including the prestigious JROTC Leadership & Academic Bowl Championship in Washington, D.C.

After advancing through two highly competitive online rounds, our cadets secured their place among the top teams in the nation. They will compete at The Catholic University of America from June 12–16, 2026.

The competition tested cadets in core academics, leadership values, citizenship, current events, and financial literacy, pushing them far beyond the classroom. Only 108 teams nationwide advanced to the championship level, with Texas leading the nation in qualifying teams.

We will share the names of our qualifying cadets soon. Stay tuned as our Eagles prepare to compete on the national stage.
