Howdy Folks,

As you may have seen, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has released its accountability ratings for the first time since the pandemic began.  I am proud to share that ILTexas has received an overall charter rating of a B, with 54% of our campuses receiving B ratings. Additionally, our campuses earned the following distinctions:

• ELA/Reading (5) – ILTexas Keller-Saginaw HS, ILTexas Westpark K-5, ILTexas Katy-Westpark HS, ILTexas College Station MS, ILTexas Aggieland HS
• Mathematics (3) – ILTexas Garland HS, ILTexas Keller-Saginaw HS, ILTexas College Station MS
• Science (5) – ILTexas Arlington MS, ILTexas Keller MS, ILTexas Katy MS, ILTexas College Station MS, ILTexas Aggieland HS
• Social Studies (5) – ILTexas Garland MS, ILTexas Garland HS, ILTexas Keller-Saginaw HS, ILTexas Lancaster-DeSoto HS, ILTexas Aggieland HS
• Comparative Academic Growth (3) – ILTexas Garland K-5, ILTexas Garland MS, ILTexas Katy-Westpark HS
• Postsecondary Readiness (5) – ILTexas Garland HS, ILTexas Keller K-5, ILTexas Keller MS, ILTexas Westpark K-5, ILTexas Katy-Westpark HS

I am thrilled that despite the challenges our students and their teachers have faced over these last two years, our schools are still performing at a high level. Our students are accomplishing great things in their journey to becoming exceptional leaders in the international community. I’d also like to recognize our ILTexas Orem K-8 campus for improving from an F to a C, thanks to our students and staff's hard work and commitment. 

12% of our schools received a C, and three were not rated. We’ve already built task forces and are providing those campuses additional support to ensure the students enrolled there will receive the high-quality education our ILTexas families expect and deserve.
