This weekend, all 26 ILTexas Charter Middle and High Schools came together to take part in the YMCA’s Annual State Model United Nations Conference. Represented by 175 outstanding student delegates and their committed sponsors, our Eagles showcased the values of excellence, integrity, and global citizenship that define ILTexas.

We are thrilled to share that several ILTexas campuses received prestigious accolades:

• Premier Delegation – Middle School: Keller K8, Westpark K8, Garland K8

• Premier Delegation – High School: Aggieland High School

• InService Award – Teacher Sponsors: Tanya Jackson (Keller K8) and Chorcelle Taylor (Katy K8)

• Secretariat Member: Isaiah Kornegay (Aggieland High School)

This culminating MUN event was more than just a competition, it was a weekend of growth, diplomacy, and lifelong memories for our scholars. Our students' passion, preparation, and poise continue to set the standard in Model UN excellence.

As we close this academic year, we look ahead with pride and excitement. ILTexas is committed to developing a first-rate MUN program for years to come, continuing to lead the way in student leadership and global citizenship.
