International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) is celebrating another major academic achievement following the release of the 2026 Texas Education Agency accountability results, with three ILTexas campuses earning all seven possible TEA Distinction Designations.

ILTexas Katy-Westpark High School, ILTexas Garland Middle School and ILTexas Richmond Middle School each earned distinctions in all seven eligible categories, placing the campuses among those recognized for outstanding academic performance across multiple measures.

For ILTexas Katy-Westpark High School, the achievement marks the second-consecutive year the campus has earned all seven distinctions, after accomplishing the same feat in 2025.

TEA Distinction Designations recognize campuses for outstanding achievement compared with similar schools across Texas. Campuses may earn distinctions in seven areas:

• Academic Achievement in Reading/Language Arts
• Academic Achievement in Mathematics
• Academic Achievement in Science
• Academic Achievement in Social Studies
• Top 25%: Comparative Academic Growth
• Postsecondary Readiness
• Top 25%: Comparative Closing the Gaps

The three campuses swept all seven categories while also earning A ratings in the 2026 TEA Accountability Ratings. ILTexas Katy-Westpark High School earned an overall score of 97, while ILTexas Garland Middle School and ILTexas Richmond Middle School each earned a 90.

The recognition extends well beyond the three campuses earning all seven distinctions.

Across ILTexas, 31 of 44 TEA-rated campus entities earned at least one Distinction Designation, combining for 104 distinctions.

Other ILTexas campuses earning at least one distinction include ILTexas Garland High School, North Richland Hills Middle School, Houston Orem Middle School, Westpark Middle School, Liberty High School, Grand Prairie Elementary School, Houston Windmill Lakes Middle School, Lancaster Middle School, Arlington Middle School, Woodhaven Elementary School, North Richland Hills Elementary School, Arlington-Grand Prairie High School, Houston Windmill Lakes-Orem High School, Lancaster-DeSoto High School, Richmond Elementary School, Woodhaven Middle School, Pearland Elementary School, Lancaster Elementary School, Westpark Elementary School and Garland Elementary School.

One area of particular strength was Top 25%: Comparative Closing the Gaps, with 23 ILTexas campus entities earning the distinction. Another 21 earned Top 25%: Comparative Academic Growth, demonstrating strong performance in two measures focused on helping students progress academically.

The 2026 Distinction Designations add to a strong year of academic results for ILTexas, which earned an 81/B charter rating, improved seven points from 2025 and saw 11 campuses earn A ratings.

Together, the results reflect the commitment of ILTexas students, teachers, campus leaders, staff and families to academic excellence and continued student growth.
