Trilingual Charter School Honors First Graduating Senior Class

First International Leadership of Texas Graduation– June 7, 2016

GARLAND, TX - International Leadership of Texas will commemorate its very first senior class on June 7, 2016. In addition to celebrating this historic milestone of the 58 students who have acquired proficiencies in three languages, ILTexas will be honoring 5 high school students who have also earned an Associate Degree from Richland College. Three students earned an Associate Degree in Science and two students earned an Associate Degree in Arts alongside their high school diploma, saving the cost of almost two years of college tuition.

All 58 students have been accepted into higher educational institutions. 22 students into four year universities and 36 students have been accepted to two year institutions. Two students will be enrolling in military services.

Some of the colleges include Baylor University, UT, UT Dallas, University of Pittsburg, Loyola Marymount University, Texas Tech University, Texas State University, UNT, TWU, Montana State University, University of Arkansas, and Florida International University.

ILTexas is proud to share in its students’ achievements who have received an overall total of $358,490 in Academic Excellent Scholarships, including their largest amount of $84,000 awarded to one outstanding student. ILTexas honors the work of their students, parents, and faculty in assisting with this community effort that provides a gateway to global success after high school.

On Tuesday, June 7, 2016 ILTexas will honor the 2016 senior class at the McFarlin Memorial Auditorium at SMU, 6405 Boaz Lane, Dallas TX 75205. The graduation will commence at 7 pm. Tickets will be provided for parents, school administration, teachers, and community leaders to join in the celebration.
