International Leadership of Texas is proud to announce that four ILTexas high schools have earned the prestigious Naval Honor School designation for the 2025–2026 school year:

ILTexas Garland High School — Naval Honor School for the fifth consecutive year

ILTexas Katy-Westpark High School — Naval Honor School for the second consecutive year

ILTexas Keller-Saginaw High School

ILTexas Windmill Lakes-Orem High School - Naval Honor School for the second consecutive year

Reserved for the top 20 percent of Marine Corps Junior ROTC programs nationwide, the designation recognizes exceptional performance, commitment, discipline, and leadership.

The four ILTexas campuses are among only 10 schools selected as Naval Honor Schools in MCJROTC Region 3 this year. Their recognition reflects the dedication of ILTexas cadets, instructors, campus leaders, families, and supporters.

Earning this distinction requires excellence throughout the MCJROTC program, including academics, leadership, community service, physical fitness, military proficiency, drill and Raider competitions, and ceremonial participation.

At Garland High School, cadets have continued to raise the standard through their discipline, leadership, service, and commitment. The program’s fifth consecutive selection demonstrates its sustained excellence and the pride with which its cadets represent the Gladiator community.

Katy-Westpark High School’s second consecutive selection builds upon the program’s inaugural Naval Honor School recognition last year. The achievement reflects the continued guidance and leadership of CWO3 Franklin, 1stSgt Williams, and GySgt Adames, along with the outstanding work of their cadets.

The recognition of Keller-Saginaw and Windmill Lakes-Orem further demonstrates the strength and consistency of MCJROTC programs across the ILTexas district. Together, this year’s four honorees exemplify the leadership, service, and high standards at the heart of the ILTexas mission.

The Naval Honor School designation also provides significant opportunities for students. Each recognized program’s Senior Marine Instructor may nominate qualified cadets for appointments to distinguished service academies, including the U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, and U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

This year’s recognition builds upon a proud history of MCJROTC excellence across ILTexas. Other campuses that have earned the Naval Honor School designation during the district’s history include:
